Greener Houses Update – April 2011

Work done thus far…

As part of becoming an eco living demonstration centre the following works have been completed:

• Draught proofing
• Eco-glazing of windows
• Installation of solar tubes – with dimmer switches
• Installation of SolaMate, a solar heating & cooling system

Coming soon will be internal blinds and external shade.

Thanks for your patience during this work, especially to the Friday playgroup who missed a day due to draught proofing.  It will be worth it when we are toasty warm in winter and don’t melt in summer.
