Challenging times in Richmond

RCLC is here for you

We would like to welcome you all back to Term 2 at RCLC and hope you all had a lovely Easter break.

Last term we began a centre review and some demographic research into the population predictions for our local  area. It seems like Richmond is “Hot Property” in terms of mid to large scale development. We will continue to support the new residents groups and the broader community by displaying the latest updates in our foyer. The expected increase in population also has a big impact on our planning for the future. We are hoping to develop a more flexible and accessible facility so that we can increase the number and range of programs and services we deliver. We also hope to have more timetabling options for local members of the community to meet and/or form interest groups. Please get in touch if you are seeking a space for your group or have some ideas for a new group.

We are planning to start a 3+ Learning Program in mid May. This program will offer a range of structured and unstructured play experiences that promote learning as fun, exciting and challenging. Our child staff ratios will be lower than the traditional kindergarten model to cater for the individual learning styles and interests of the children. Please register your interest asap to guarantee a place for your child.

Finally just a reminder that we have some new recycling bins in the foyer. You can now drop off your old printer cartridges, mobile phones, etc.
